1. Services Offered
We provide packing and shipping services for a variety of items, including but not limited to art, antiques, furniture, and delicate goods.
2. Quotations and Charges
All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer regarding the size, weight, and fragility of items. Charges are subject to change if additional services or materials are required during packing or shipping.
3. Packing and Handling
We exercise utmost care in packing items to ensure their safe transportation. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the nature and condition of items to be packed.
4. Insurance
Customers may choose to purchase insurance for their shipments to cover against loss or damage. Insurance is arranged by us on the customer’s behalf through a third-party insurer. We are not the insurer and do not provide insurance cover ourselves. All coverage is subject to the insurer’s terms, conditions, exclusions, and claims assessment process.
In the event of loss or damage:
The customer must notify us within 24 hours of delivery or becoming aware of a delivery issue and provide all information reasonably required to enable us to submit a claim to the insurer.
Where a shipment arrives damaged, the recipient must either refuse delivery or record clear reservations on the delivery slip. Damaged goods and packaging must be retained, and photographic evidence will be required.
Failure to be available for delivery, missing a delivery, or redirecting a shipment to a pick-up shop, parcel shop, or alternative location may invalidate the insurance.
Approval, rejection, and settlement of any claim is solely at the discretion of the insurer. Any compensation paid by the insurer constitutes full and final settlement. The Company is not liable for loss or damage where insurance is purchased, except as expressly stated under the insurer’s terms.
5. Delivery
We aim to deliver items within the agreed timeframe, but delivery times may vary depending on factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, customs delays). Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and ensure someone is available to receive the shipment.
6. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of our packing and shipping services unless additional insurance is purchased. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. Customers will be notified of any changes via our website or direct communication. By using our packing and shipping services, customers agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
